Lip of the Day
I wouldn't exactly call this a bold lip, not really red or pink either. It's a good anytime lip color. I found this lipgloss at the bottom of one of my random beauty boxes. First off, this gloss gets major points from me because it isn't packed with an overdone old lady scent like many inexpensive glosses.
I've got a few more Cover Girl Queen lipstick reviews on the way. I rarely check out Revlon glosses, but after this, I'm going to have to!
Wet 'N Wild has come a very, very long way. I used to walk past the display unit without a second thought. Now I go to see if there are any new palettes.
This particular lipstick, Mega Last Lipstick in 908C, is full coverage, opaque, and definitely a department store dupe.
I added MAC Lipglass in Indigo Pink on top. I chose this color because I bought this at my local Cosmetic Company Outlet. I really liked the color, and thought I would add it to my arsenal of lip colors that I'll never be able to get through.
I do believe there is such thing as the "perfect red" lip. But it's not my style to rely on just one color in any makeup category! Take a look at the lip with and without the gloss.
This lipstick, Such Flare!, is part of the MAC Holiday collection. It's a really great lip, even if you wear it alone!
I decided to jazz it up using Driven by Love Pro Longwear Lipglass. This color is pretty sexy all by itself. It reminds me of the older, classic MAC Lacquers from back in the day. Fanplastico was the best! Here's a swatch of it alone, if you will. I didn't use a lip liner with any of these looks. Woo hoo! Red lips rock!
