I've been hearing about subscription beauty services for quite some time now. I hadn't caved in, because I just wasn't sure which one I wanted. Basically, they all offer an assortment of beauty products every month. Glossybox has finally arrived in the US! I heard so many British beauty bloggers rave over Glossybox, so I'm excited to see what all of the hype is about! I'll tell you now, this is the girly girl's dream package. A luxe pink box wrapped in ribbon? Yes please!
For $21 a month, you'll receive 5 travel sized beauty products to play with. This is really great because you get to try items that you might not have. This month, I received BASQ Cucumber Tea Eye Gel, OPI Kiss Me On my Tulips Nail Lacquer, Kryolan High Gloss in Toffee, C.O. Bigelow Lavender and Peppermint Shampoo, CARGO Eye Bronzer and the Erno Laszlo Hollywood Collection. You can get the full scoop on all of these products here.
On the other hand, you might get a box of stuff that you just don't want. But keep in mind, you're spending $5.20 an item, and you're getting a great deal. I'd probably just give the unwanted items. After you receive your box, you can fill out surveys on the site to help tailor what kind of products you'll receive. I haven't actually tried any of the products yet, but I am really, really excited to do so!
These little packets are from Erno Laszlo. The actual sample set is $125, and contains beauty products based on classic Hollywood actresses. It includes: Velvet Night Cream, Instant Eye Repair, Refresh Moisture Infusion, Intense Porcelain Veil, and Morning Beauty Rescue.
Glossybox is available in 19 countries! For more information, visit Glossybox.com!
