MAC Viva Glam Gaga 2 is here! I'm not going to lie. The last Gaga collection was a little too much for me. Sure, a brown girl can rock it, but I've never really been that crazy about pale pinks on me (except for Oyster Girl lipglass). This collection, available through February 2012, is much more of my speed. It's nude! Nude is great because we can rock it anytime. What makes it even better is that 100% of the proceeds will go to the MAC AIDS Fund. (That should seriously make you want to get).
Lipstick-Light Warm Beige ($14.50) and Lipglass-Light Neutral Pinked Beige ($14.50)
These creamy beige nudes definitely need to be paired with a chocolatey lip liner. When you first apply the lipstick, it gave me the "Tyrone Biggums" look (if you don't know him, google him). I wouldn't wear it alone, and had MAC not sent it to me for review, I probably wouldn't have bought it. The gloss is much more forgiving. It's darker, so you can throw it on and go (but I would still suggest using it with a liner). I like this MUCH better. I'm going to suggest that you purchase the lipglass for sure, but try the lipstick on before you get it. It's really light. Overall, I'm happy she created a part 2. Looks freakin' fab on her!
Here's a comparison of some of my favorite MAC lipsticks. Lady Gaga, Teddy Babe, Jubilee, Siss, Yash, Underplay! Purchase the MAC Viva Glam Gaga 2 collection here!
